Product questions ("is this safe?") live in the main FAQ. This page covers what happens after you buy. Anything unanswered: support@diskbroom.com — a human (the developer) reads every email.
It was shown on the page you landed on right after paying — a code like DBRM-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. That page is also linked from your Stripe receipt email. Lost both? Email support@diskbroom.com from the address you bought with and we'll resend it.
In DiskBroom, click your plan label (bottom of the sidebar) to open the Plan sheet, paste your key, and press Activate. That's the whole process — no account, no login. One key works on up to 2 Macs.
Your key is active on 2 Macs already. On a Mac you no longer want licensed, open the Plan sheet and click Deactivate this Mac — the slot frees instantly and the new Mac can activate. If the old Mac is dead or gone, email us and we'll free the slot for you.
Reinstalling DiskBroom on the same Mac: nothing — your license lives in the macOS Keychain and survives. A brand-new Mac: activate with the same key (it uses your second slot; deactivate the old machine first if both slots are taken).
Self-serve, no email needed: open the subscription portal, sign in with your purchase email (it sends a one-time link — no password), and cancel. Pro keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, exactly as the license agreement promises. The same portal updates your card and shows invoices.
There's a 30-day money-back guarantee: email support@diskbroom.com from your purchase email and we refund it — no interrogation. A refund ends the subscription immediately and the app quietly returns to the free tier (your two chosen categories keep cleaning; nothing locks up).
DISKBROOM. The seller of record is Stripe (our merchant of record), which is also why sales tax appears calculated for your location.
Yes. Cleaning never waits on the network. The app re-checks your license quietly about once a day, and a checked license is trusted for up to 7 days with no connection — a flight or dead Wi-Fi will never lock you out.
It renews yearly on your purchase date at the then-current price, and Stripe emails you before the renewal. Cancel any time before the date via the portal and you keep Pro until the period ends. If the price ever increases, you'll be notified before it affects you.
Email support@diskbroom.com with what happened and (if it's an activation issue) your purchase email. Support is answered by the person who wrote the code, which is either reassuring or alarming — but it's fast.
